Good quote!! That may just be the gospel of Jesus Christ summed up.

Isn't this jumping the gun a bit? You know, "Tommorrow's" Daily Dig? :-)
Peace.

Merton was SO wise.

So...today is Sunday. What will Monday's dig be? You seem to have the inside scoop :-)

great quote - we've often told the boys "people are more important than things" and lately I have been thinking "Which of my possessions would I not give away to someone who wanted/needed it, or to follow the leading of the Spirit?" People are more important than things.

How true Mike and a wonderful quote.
Though when I look at it, I see it with eyes that say things are not relationships. Things cannot hurt you a people do, they are inanimate we can put our feelings into them how ever we wish. Perhaps that is why they are so false and yet we hang on so tightly. We have control over them or so we think. In fact because we distance ourselves from relationship and begin to worship things, they have more power over us that we realize.
Sorry, just rambling on here but it sure has caused me to do some analyzing of this subject!
