Aha!
This helps explain a few things...
You scored as Cultural Creative. Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

"You scored as Existentialist.
Existentialism emphasizes human capability. There is no greater power interfering with life and thus it is up to us to make things happen. Sometimes considered a negative and depressing world view, your optimism towards human accomplishment is immense. Man is condemned to be free and must accept the responsibility."
I wasn't sure how many readers of this blog would get this particular score so I thought I should post the definition.

JJ - You'll burn for that one, sinner.
Sue - you're in good company... Jesus was irreligious!
Robert - thanks for thinking of us! (See my reply to JJ...)

Whoa... I'm thinking there's a problem with the test.
I also scored as a Cultural Creative (63%).
But Mike is nearly twice the Fundy that I am (38%), more than twice the Idealist (25%) and we scored exactly the same on the Existentialist and Materialist scales.
Does that seem right?

thanks for the link ... I was surprised that I was more "fundamentalist" than "idealist" though. I keep telling people I'm idealist at heart but realist in practice. I still like to think I am ...

Anything's possible, Rick. After all, we're living in the end times...
(I can't even type that with a straight face!)

I'm 88% cultural creative. Next closest score is 56% for postmodernist. Hmmm...do I need a little more balance in life?

I also scored as a Cultural Creative (94%).

I came out a cultural creative too. Mind you, creating a blog is part of creating culture. I've posted some background to the book behind the quiz, and the people who came up with the concept, at http://pacifichighlander.blogspot.com/2005/05/cultural-creatives.html

Illuminating! Cultural Creative -94%, postmodernist 88%, idealist 69%, romantic 56%, fundamentalist 50%, existentialist 38%, modernist 38%, materialist 19%. I always knew I was a chameleon, but that's a pretty large mix!

And only 6% fundy!
