Wow Daryl - thanks for the reminder. Yeah, it's been HUGE personally. I also think it's been big corporately too, but that's a bigger statement.
Wow.

It's been a great year - uneventful as hoped for but good. Much better than 2006!

It's been a bad year.

Robert. It's 3am here and my internal clock is still stuck in Uganda.
I was lying in bed thinking about your comment.
There really is no reply to this that won't sound trite. From the little I've heard it has been a really tough year for you. Platitudes etc, won't change that. I could tell you we've been praying for you but I'm not sure what that means to you, except I know you'd take it to mean we care and I think that's all I'm trying to say. We do care. There's just no denying that life can often be shitty.
I dunno. I guess I think the worst response to you as a friend would be silence and I'd rather risk sounding corny that silent. So given that this season, for us, is about celebrating a God who came to be with us during the shit and not just take it away, please know that we care and in as much as we can do so from a distance, we'd like to walk with you through the crap. Even if all we do is sigh and wish together that the shit weren't so deep.
Know what I mean?

thanks Dave, I appreciate your care and kind words. And yes, I really appreciate it if you tell me you've been praying for me.

Robert,
I'm sorry this has been such a hard year.
Prayers here for you...

Love, Lynne
