Up until now I've avoided even mentioning the whole Lakeland/Todd Bentley thing because quite frankly, I have little interest in it. Admittedly the charismatic thing is outside of my usual operating zone, but even so, I have a hard time seeing what any of this has to do with following Jesus.
As Bentley is a BC guy, and as the ministry is based here in the Lower Mainland, this whole debacle is getting a lot of press here in Vancouver. Mainstream press. So I guess this is where I do speak up, when it reflects poorly on the Body of Christ and when it seems damage is being done.
