Kids and immediate family type issues (ie. preganant daughter)...no likely not. Greater family history...definitely. Let me explain...you have to ask yourself if the general "educational bend" of the "dynasty" historically bends towards thought patterns at complete odds with the type of government policies you'd like to see.
Individual family foibles...not a problem. Family history of leaning towards or promoting fascism...definitely a problem.

I couldn't care less about what the family members of politicians do. In fact, I'm not all that interested in what politicians do on their own time, as long as they're not, you know, draping themselves in blue & white or Yankee fans or anything like that. That's just in poor taste.
Otherwise, live and let live.
