Looks like pre-orders for Derek Webb's new album Stockholm Syndrome will commence on July 7, with a street release date of September 9. Rebelling Against Indifference has some of the story of the controversy surrounding this album here. (h/t to Matthew Paul Turner)

It's a cool song, but I can't believe that's what everyone is up in arms about. What a world when the truth in question is in question... sigh.

I had to go to the Rebelling Against Indifference site to figure out what the big deal was. I'm still not sure I get it ... the song just isn't that inflammatory from where I sit.

Its a question of perspective, Sonja. I'm with you, but I'm sure we both know people who are going to have trouble with this. The content, the language, or both.
Quite frankly I think both (content & language) are needed, necessary, and appropriate, for a whole bunch of reasons.
