On Being an Alternative
This post is just a holder for some articles I've come across on resistance, the anti-Olympic movement and a few other related topics that I may or may not ever get around to thinking more about. Some might find some of this offensive, but it's all worthy of consideration. If you have anything to add, feel free to jump into the comments.
A brief thought: The People of God are called to be an alternative community for the world. You can't be an alternative to something unless you are very clear abut what you are not, or what you resist. This makes a theology of resistance important (and protest OK).

Having lived through the Games here in Vancouver, I've seen glimpses, hints, and echoes of things that I want to explore. Kingdom stuff. So, here's a few more things to throw into the mix:
