I was over at Occupy Victoria last night after they had started to partially disband, and my thought was 'This is the way the world will end, not with a bang, but a whimper'. (Google reminds me that that is from TS Eliot). The local Occupy seemed to be just drifting away, not ending with a punch, but a fade to black.
And then I went back today, and as they celebrated another reprieve on their injunction, it seems like there is yet a future for the movement locally--not as an encampment, but a movement.
So, yes, Occupy will (and already has) changed the world. In a very similar way to how the Kingdom is advancing, one person at a time, so the world is changing.
Or, in the words from LOTR, 'The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air.'
God help us if it doesn't change!
