Here's a brief status report for those interested in how we're doing with our No AKs 4 IC project.
Currently we've sold 29 stickers to supporters in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the US. As well, our Facebook group is up to 95 people who are helping to spread the word. Currently we're asking folks with stickers to send us photos depicting them, their sticker, their city, whatever. Be creative!
If you haven't yet done so, take a few minutes to check out the incredible work of Invisible Children, run by some of the most creative and inspiration people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Then, if you feel so inclined, send us along $12 CDN and we'll get one of these "limited edition" items right out to you!
I'll also put in another plug for James Pearson's blog. James runs the IC bracelet program in Uganda, and has written about his experiences living in the Koro Abili IDP camp for 3 days during their Displace Me campaign. We visited Koro very briefly back in March, and it was an experience I will never forget. Drop by and have a look.
